VN Maritime, a trade name of VN Adventures E.I.RL., has been founded by Hans de Koning AFNI. Originally coming from the Netherlands where he gained his experience in the Maritime Industry, he landed several years ago in the Dominican Republic.
When establishing VN Maritime he brought in 35 years maritime experience. Experience not only gained as captain but as well as shipbuilder, ship manager, ship owner, consultant, broker and surveyor. During his career he has managed engine room installations, new building projects, company set-ups and various maritime projects. As consultant he has worked for ship owners, lawyers as well as financial institutes. He is an Associated Fellow of the Nautical Institute, Member of the International Institute of Marine Surveyors and holds a diploma and MBA in Marine Surveying
