VN Maritime - Marine Surveys
Your ears and eyes at location that is what a marine surveyor is for you. A surveyor is independent with no other connections or interests, just yours. This, including a package of experience and knowledge of the subject will provide you the information you’ll need. We work together with local Maritime Lawyers to protect your interests in more complicated matters. VN Maritime carries out the following surveys in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, the Caribbean, central and South America on board of commercial as well as private vessels.
Condition surveys
Whether you have financed, invested or insured a vessel, you want to know the condition of the asset it's, and it's managers, performance and an indication of what to expect from the vessel in the- near- future. A condition survey of the vessel, documents and certificates including an extensive photo report gives you all the information you need
Appraisal surveys
If you want to have the vessel, financed or re-financed you will need an appraisal of the vessel. The same will be required by banks or investors on regular intervals. Based on our survey report we can provide you with an appraisal certificate issued by a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers
Pre-purchase surveys
Providing the information a shipowner can base his decisions on whether to purchase a vessel or compare objectively various vessels available on the market. Every survey report will be accompanied by an extensive photographicly report. If required we can provide you with an appraisal certificate.
